Life Beam is creating wearable fitness headphones that track your performance goals for walking, running, training, and cycling.  Vi headphones improve your workout and make it more enjoyable. TheVi earbuds feature ergonomic earphone design, a battery that works all day, sound by Harman Kardon, offer a personal workout plan, integrate with fitness apps and Strava, and provide voice and texting capabilities.

Vi or V Headphones with Artificial Intelligence

Pronounced V or Vee, the Vi headphones incorporate artificial intelligence (AI) to simulate a personal trainer to help you lose weight, increase your mileage, or reach your fitness goals.  The Vi voice in the headphones coaches you during your exercise routine much the way a personal trainer would.  Vi gets data from a lot of sources, including your workout history and apps like Google Fit and Apple Healthkit.  The headphones monitor your heart rate and exertion, are also able to detect your location, weather conditions and elevation above sea level.

Vi headphones raised $1,688,179 through a Kickstarter crowdfunding effort for its earbuds.  The Life Beam startup began raising funds in June 1, 2016 and made its fundraising goal of $100,000 on June 1, 2016. Life-Beam had stretch goals that included a carrying case for a goal of $750K, custom colors of blue, black or bronze headphones for a $1M goal, and integration with My Fitness Pal for $1.5M.
